  • To understand the Frequency Response Methods.
  • To understand the Frequency Response Methods.
  • To explain the Stability in the frequency domain.
  • To understand the Design of Feedback Control system.
  • To learn about MATLAB programming.

Learning Objectives

The successful completion of this course, Student will be able:

  • Describe the powerful concept of root locus and its role in the control system design.
  • Sketch a bode plot and also how to obtain a computer-generated Bode plot.
  • Explain the Nyquist stability criterion and the role of the Nyquist plot.
  • Identify time-domain performance specifications in the frequency domain.
  • Explain the design of lead and lag compensators using root locus and bode plot methods.
