Learning Objectives

The aims of this course:

• To structure text and image content for the web using HTML5.
• To learn semantic markup new to the HTML standard.
• To style a web page using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• To create hyperlinks to link to other pages .
• To learn the box model for basic layout design.
• To make web pages accessible and well-formed.
• To personalize web pages using text formatting, graphics, audio, and video elements
• To create a webpage from start to finish by planning, designing, and implementing everything themselves.

Learning Outcomes

The successful completion of this course, Student will be able:

• Can write HTML and understand how to effectively implement it in the web environment.
• Can write CSS effectively to create well organized, styled web pages.
• Can use the HTML Document Object Model (DOM) to manipulate and organize a web page.
• Can create a functioning web store with variable products.
• Can be able to design, program and publish a working and atheistic website.
