Calculus II

Course Objectives

The aims of this course:

  • To introduce the concept of integration and differentiations.
  • To study various techniques of integration and illustrate some applications of integration.
  • To introduce sequences and infinite series and investigate the analysis and use of sequences and infinite series.

Learning Objectives

The successful completion of this course, Student will be able:

  • To understand the concepts and rules of integration.
  • To know different techniques for finding antiderivatives.
  • To understand that many familiar functions have representations as infinite polynomials (power series) whose coefficients are determined by derivatives evaluated at a single point.
  • To apply convergence tests.
  • To understand the idea of radius of convergence of a power series.
  • To model a situation using a differential equation or system of differential equations.
