Learning Objectives

The aims of this course:

  • To understand the diverse contexts in which Information Technology is used and the challenges inherent in the diffusion of innovative technology
  • To develop computer literacy skills to adapt to emerging technologies used in the global marketplace.
  • To become more valuable, better and knowledge digital citizens to adapt emerging technologies.
  • To implement personal and interpersonal skills to prepare for a rapidly evolving workplace environment.
  • • To provide grounding and fluency in the basic information technology (IT) skills necessary for information professionals.
